Point Roberts, Washington                  2,920 points                           Available: 24 hours

Pick up a gas receipt from Point Roberts, Washington.

Point Roberts, Washington is located in northwest Washington state, just south of Vancouver, British Columbia.

When you are in Canada, there are few, if any, signs to locate Point Roberts.  When you cross the border, I-5 becomes Canada-99. Take 99 to the exit marked Tswwassen (17 south).  You may need to ask directions in Tswwassen as the road to Point Roberts is not well-marked as the Canadian Government is a bit miffed that a lot of Canadians go to Point Roberts to purchase relatively inexpensive US cigarettes.  If you end up in the ferry port, you missed the turn off to Point Roberts.

NOTE: In order to reach Point Roberts, Washington, you must clear Canada customs and then American customs.  On your return trip you will have to do it all again... That's four border crossings - expect long lines as this can be a very, very busy crossing into and out of Canada. If lines are long, you may want to consider an alternate border crossing to the east of I-5.
